Refund Policy/Return – FoodMasty

Effective Date: February 2025

At FoodMasty, customer satisfaction is our priority. We strive to provide high-quality food and grocery delivery services. However, in case of any issues, we have a fair refund policy outlined below.

1. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds will be provided in the following cases:

  • Wrong Order Delivered: If an incorrect food item is delivered.
  • Missing Items: If any item from the order is missing.
  • Spoiled/Contaminated Food: If the food is not fit for consumption.
  • Order Not Delivered: If the order was not delivered at all.
  • Late Delivery (Exceptional Cases): If the order is significantly late and the customer refuses to accept it.

2. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • If the taste or spice level does not meet expectations.
  • If the wrong address was provided and the delivery agent reached the location.
  • If the customer accepts the order and then later files a complaint.

3. Refund Process

  • Complaints must be registered within 24 hours.
  • Photo/video proof is mandatory.
  • The request will be investigated, and the refund will be approved/disapproved accordingly..

4. Refund Processing Time

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 working days to the original payment method.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be credited to the wallet or via bank transfer.

4. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be canceled before the restaurant/store starts preparing them for a full refund.
  • If the preparation has started, only partial refunds (if any) may be granted based on the restaurant/store's policy.

5. Return Eligibility

  • Food items are perishable, so returns are not accepted.
  • Returns are only considered in cases of wrong items or damaged food.

6. Return Process

  • Customers must raise a complaint within 30 minutes of delivery.
  • Photo/video proof is required.
  • Complaints can be registered via the app help center, email, or customer care.
